The Faculty of Science organised an alumni hike in March 2024, which received enthusiastic support from our alumni and the quota has been filled in no time! We will once again host a hike and warmly invite all alumni to bring their friends or family to join us in appreciating Hong Kong’s beautiful coastal scenery and rich geological features.

This event will feature guest guides and Earth System Science alumnae, Eugenia and Pinky, who will lead us through the Cape D’Aguilar Marine Reserve and introduce the area’s geology and geomorphology.

Transportation: Registered participants can take advantage of a one-way shuttle bus from University Station to Cape D’Aguilar, included in the registration fee. The event will end with free dismissal at Cape D’Aguilar.
Language: The tour will be conducted mainly in Cantonese and supplemented in English.
Quotas: 40 people (Alumni can bring one non-alumni companion aged 10 or above)
Registration Fee: HK$40 per person*
* Collected fees are non-refundable, and will be used to offset expenses of the Faculty’s alumni and student development activities.
