B.Sc. in Interdisciplinary Data Analytics & X Double Major Programme
In 2023-24, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) (CUHK(SZ)) launched the Interdisciplinary Data Analytics & X Double Major Programme, a comprehensive Collaborative Double Major Programme, which was the first-of-its-kind in Hong Kong.
CUHK students enrolled in this four-year programme will pursue a major in Interdisciplinary Data Analytics at CUHK along with another major in a specific science, engineering or business discipline offered by CUHK or CUHK(SZ). They will attend classes and participate in learning and research activities at both the Hong Kong campus and the Shenzhen campus.
CUHK(SZ) was founded in 2014, with the mission of providing higher education that bridges China and the world. It endeavours to cultivate innovative talent with a global perspective and who values Chinese cultural traditions and social responsibilities. CUHK governs the academic standards of CUHK(SZ), ensuring that teaching and learning are at the same high standards as on the Hong Kong campus.
Highlights
A distinctive CUHK x CUHK(SZ) “2+2” double-major experience, enabling students to study, conduct research, and engage in learning activities across both the Hong Kong and Shenzhen campuses, while gaining immersive exposure to the innovation, technology, and business opportunities of the Greater Bay Area.
Credit-bearing field trips across the Greater Bay Area and Asia, providing valuable cross-cultural perspectives, industry exposure, and experiential learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

The programme is ideally suited for students interested in pursuing a career in leading national organizations and multi-national enterprises committed to developing markets in GBA or Chinese Mainland.
